Help!!

We are now the proud parents of a picky eating toddler. I need some new ideas of meals and good foods for toddlers to eat. Amelia has always been a bit picky, but the last few days she won't eat anything she used to love. I admit, I am in a bit of a food rut with her. PB & J has been my specialty, that and noodles. Those were ALWAYS the two things she would eat no matter what, but the last few days, she won't even eat those. So help me out here people. Tell me what are some of the favorite foods your kids eat.

Maybe that is her way of letting you know she is tired of the same thing all the time. Why don't you just feed her what ever you eat? I think that is what we did.

We went through the same thing, and I just started giving her what I was making for me - and it's really true what they say. Eventually they will eat, they're not going to starve themselves to death. Mine is still a picky eater, and we have found some new staples (grilled cheese, mac & cheese, chicken nuggets) but she is more willing to try new stuff when I keep putting it in front of her. Just keep trying new stuff and eventually she'll decide to give you break :)

Our kids are expected to eat what we eat, and if they don't, then they don't eat. (We are meanies)

My kids love chicken nuggets, fish sticks, grilled cheese, cream cheese and jam sandwich/bagel, pizza, peanut butter and banana sandwich.

Good luck!

Try, try again and in the mean time also try cheese quesadillas, canned or steamed veggies and fruit, applesauce, raisins, and edamame- my kid eats soybeans like they're candy. Good luck!

It is time to try new things. Get out the cookbook and cook the things you like to eat. She will like them too. She loved the muddy buddies and so do you. Children get bored and then they challenge their parents to change it up a little bit. You know what to do. I have seen you prepare delicious meals and experiment with new recipes. We are so proud of you.

I have to agree with the others. Our kids go through this often. They like to snub their noses at most dinners, but fortunately they love breakfast foods. They may not each much for dinner, but they eat a lot of pancakes and waffles and even occasionally the oatmeal and cream of wheat (these used to be staples, but they kind of got tired of them). Joshua still loves "lunch" (PB&J). Emma loves mac & cheese. Crazy huh! Fortunately, they also both like a good apple or pear and will go into the kitchen and get one when they are hungry. Too bad they only take a few bites and leave them on the table or somewhere else. It is always fun to finish off a half eaten apple!
