Brad had this Friday off to kick off an early celebration for the 4th of July so we decided to go exploring. We headed up the coast towards Malibu and found ourselves at a beach called Surfrider Beach. We were slightly disappointed to find out that is a beach dedicated entirely to surfers. Two weeks ago there was a major surfing competition held here. And I mean big time competition with all the big names (not that I'd know who any of them are.) But we had a fun time anyway.
Amelia just loved soaking in the sun.
Keeping cool.
Off for more exploration...and I just love this shot.
We decided to bury Daddy...Amelia LOVED this!
A little sand here...
And a little more in there! Open up Daddy. It's empty in there!
Amelia LOVED walking up a down the water line collecting all the rocks. We told her that she had to carry all the ones she found and once her hands filled up she'd stop at every rock she saw and would cry because she didn't have the room to pick it up. Thinking about it now, we should have just given her her bucket, but it was packed away! Aren't we great parents?!

Yes, you are wonderful parents. Amelia is so blessed to have such good parents who love her and are dedicated to her every need. I love the picture of Brad and Amelia walking on the beach going to find some new treasures. You should have that picture blown up and framed. It is great! We miss you. Love you so much!
I love Amelia's matching swimming suit, sunglasses, and hat. She really is a cute little beach girl. I wish we lived closer to a beach!
