We've been trying to get out and about a bit more to see some of the local sites and we discovered this local gem! People always talk about how great the Santa Monica Pier is, but we'd only ever seen it from a distance...down the coast line, so we decided to give it a go! We had the most beautiful weather/day while we were there. Temperature was in the 70's, blue skies, cool breeze! It was fantastic! Now we know where to bring all of you when you come to visit!

Plenty of rides for the kiddies.
And exhaustion for the ride home! Nothin' beats two sleeping kiddies...(unless of course you have THREE sleeping kiddos.)

Hello Kim & Brad! I haven't checked up on you here in ages - congrats on your little boy!!! Joel is soooo adorable and I love the name. Hope life is 100% smooth sailing with two kids! Hah - who am I kidding?? Hope you're enjoying it, at least! I can't get over how big Amelia is. Her hair is to die for!!! Happy New Year to you!
