Brad's iPhone wait

Brad had the week off on vacation and wanted to take part in world tech history and "line waited" for the new Apple iPhone at the Pentagon City Mall (from 6a to 6p!) He was 2nd in line - out of 300+ at last count. The police had to escort him into the store (because of the throbbing mob who hadn't waited) where he was welcomed with a loud roar of cheers and applause throughout the store and the entire mall lit up with excitement, and became quite deafening for a long while!

Immediately after purchasing two, he stuffed them into a nondescript bag and bolted out of the mall, avoiding more press people wanting a peek (and muggers).

During his 12hr stint he got interviewed by the Washington Post, Bloomberg News, a couple small papers and a local radio station (we're still waiting for the stories to go live so we can post the links).

So now Brad can say he was one of the first in the country (because of the timezone difference - launches at 6p across the country - and his sweet 2nd place in line)...and now we get to take 'em back! (Brad says, "it was well worth the wait! I mean, I was like a full-on rockstar; got my 15 minutes of fame...now its gonna be hard to part with 'em.)

Blessing Day!!

Today we were able to bless Amelia with Grandma and Grandpa Wilson here.

Finally, here are a few more photos for all those of you who are itching for new photos! These are pictures from the hospital that we have been a bit slack at posting. But I (Kim) just love these and had to post them for all to see. She has changed a lot already since we have been home. She will be two weeks old tomorrow...wow how time flies! I can't believe it's already been that long. But it's very exciting. She is an excellent sleeper (sleeps 6-8 hours at night already...we'll see how long that lasts) and a very hearty eater, (takes after Brad and I). I am recovering well, still very tired, but we went out for a walk today which felt good to get out of the house. Anyway, without further delay...here are the photos:

Being an infant must be hard work, cuz she's been snoozin' like this almost nonstop! Sometimes we think she's in a coma after struggling for minutes to rouse her to eat.
