White House Squirrels

These squirrels go bonkers for all the nuts lying around. Easily lured onto your knee, as you can see. Too bad our RAZR phones weren't quicker with the video capture...Brad had one jump from the ground to his waist (while he was standing) and ran up his arm before he flicked it off! Kim had one bat a nut right out from between her fingers.

All Roads Film Festival at NatGeo HQ

We volunteered for the 3rd Annual All Roads Film Festival this last Saturday (some of you may remember that Brad was one of the coordinators for the 1st one back in '04)

This guy showed us how to make obsidian arrowheads (obsidian shatters at the molecular level, which makes it one of the sharpest blades in the world...)

During a lull, we went up to the 5th floor to check out Brad's pad

For lunch we ran over to the Burger King and swung inside the Renwick Art Gallery (one of the many Smithsonian owned buildings around DC) for kicks

One of the many "Bizarre Beasts" currently on display at NG HQ

Fun at the Carraway's!

The Carraway boys (Carson & Brandon) having a little too much fun with the live lobsters flown in from Cape Cod...and David getting ready for his much deserved feast. Hannah pipes in with her quarter eyes.

Around the White House

The White House is only .6 miles from NatGeo HQ, and even less to the Metro stop we come in on everyday, so we usually take a stroll around the famous house on Pennsylvania Ave...and, there's never a dull moment outside with all the protestors.

Our personal favourite:
