Yes, we're capitalists...

Notice our cool new site template? Yeah, the green is so much cooler.

Also, we added the Google AdSense bar just above the text on our pages so we can make enough money to go get a slurpee every other month.

So, by all means, if you like us at all, click like crazy on the adds on all our pages, quickly close out of them (of course), come back to our site, and click some more! The new Red Rasberry flavour has been begging us to come and give it a go...

Bluetooth and the bleedin' edge of technology

Tonight we had Kaaran & Mereanne Prime (they were the one's who so kindly took us in when we first arrived here in Oz) over for some Indian chicken korma curry. After some card games, we played around with Mereanna's Motorola V3's (mobile phone) bluetooth capabilities with our laptop. Check out the result...

Seein' Kee off at the Sydney Airport

Today we saw Kee Chan off at the airport as he departed to Los Angeles. The pictures below were snapped by Sydney Airport marketing peeps and posted at www.sydneyairport.com (pretty cool, eh?).

We randomly ran into Kee about 2-3 months back in the Queen Victoria Building underground mall. He was in Sydney for one day on his way to Brisbane and we just happened to be walking through the tunnel at the exact same time. Neither of us had any idea we were here, so it was quite a trip.

Maroubra Beach

We set out on a bus early in the morning to Maroubra Beach to go bodyboarding...despite the influx of poisonous blue-bottle jellyfish being washed in with the tide, and the dangerous currents (which make for the best bodyboarding anyway!). Slowly, but surely, we're getting better at turning and doing 360's, etc. Once we get the money to get some flippers we'll be so good, Billabong and Ripcurl will be knocking down our door asking to sponsor us!!!

Camping out at Jervis Bay

Here are some pictures from our campout back on Boxing Day (26 Dec 05), with Sharon, Paul, Iosbel Smith, and Chris & Anna.

Our visit with Kee Chan in Bowral

We took a 5 hour journey (it should have only been 2.5 hours) on the train down to the southern highlands today to visit and catch up with our good buddy, Kee Chan. It was a great trip, the country side was beautiful, and we enjoyed our visit with Kee. He drove us up to a beautiful place called Fitzroy Falls. It was a nice little bush walk to a gorgeous vista and huge waterfall. Here are a few of them.

This is the Bowral train station...typical of bush town/country train stations:

Anti-Frizz!

Sydney survived the second hottest New Years Day ever in it's history! All we could do is lay down like we were dead and dream of the snow back on the northern hemisphere. Luckily that evening a massive storm swept through and temperatures dropped, thank goodness, and the humidity was swept away for a little while.

This is Kim getting so excited about being able to do her hair properly because the humidity was gone.
