A day at the Utah Hogle Zoo

Well, today, Halloween, has been quite an eventful day. We started off by heading out to get family pictures taken at JC Penny's (don't recommend them), and then headed off to the Utah Hogle Zoo with Emilie and Matthew. We discovered that Halloween is the BEST day to go to the zoo as we saw maybe 5 people in the entire zoo! (which is really quite odd considering normally when you are at the zoo you are standing shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the world)

The gang next to a rare white alligator.

One of the weirdest looking creatures we have ever seen.

Well...maybe.

Zebras (obviously)

"Can I ride him, Mommy?"

Check out the brightly coloured animal we just found!!

"I'm not an animal, I promise! This isn't fun anymore..."

"Is that all you do is sit in that stroller all day?"

Happy Halloween!!!

And now the moment all parents wait for...dressing your baby up like whimsical fairy-land creatures...well, in this case, just a fairy (OK...maybe just us, and maybe only in America.)
Kim made this all by herself and was just having a bit too much fun!

Fly away!!

A hard day of shopping...

I went shopping the other day with my mom and sister and Amelia...and...well, I'll let this picture speak for itself:

And later that evening...one of my all-time favorite moments caught on camera! Doesn't that just make your heart melt?!

Visiting more Great-Grandparents

Amelia meets her Great-Grandparents Wilson for the first time up in Logan, Utah (and of course, she wanted to make sure she had a nice big drool stain running down her shirt for the all memories)

Brad finally gets his 4 generation picture that he's been dying to do

Actin' like tourists in downtown Salt Lake City

Touring through the LDS Conference Center

On the roof, Brad and Amelia ham it up for Kim

Posing at the exact spot where Brad proposed to Kimberly that fateful (and cold) night nearly 6 years ago (Nov 2001)

The place where it all began (marriage in the Salt Lake LDS Temple)

Kim and Amelia giving the "thumbs up" approval to the newly renovated/earthquake-protected Tabernacle

Amelia strikes a pose back at the Wilson's

Amelia makes it too easy to take some great photos to give to grandparents

And her first try sitting at the kitchen table goes actually quite well!

The Sunday after...

We went to the baby blessing of our newest niece, Kathryn (Ben & Mary Alice Wilson) before heading down to see the Blunck's for the first time in a long time

Off into the wild blue yonder!

Well, Brad left work with NatGeo yesterday and we shipped all our stuff out and boarded the plane to Utah to go visit family for a couple weeks before we head back down unda!

Amelia's first flight luckily wasn't too dramatic (until the last hour at least...wonder how she'll do with the 14-17hr flight ahead of us!)

The many sleepy faces of Amelia

Despite being wrapped like a mummy...

And having out-grown her moses basket...

Amelia still manages to wiggle one arm loose...

Both arms loose...

Feet too...

And still sleep like a baby!
