Summer Hill Young Women

About three weeks ago Kim was called as the Young Women President in our ward. We have about 17 girls in our ward. Last week was Valentines day and we made chocolate covered strawberries and played some "getting to know you" games. Here is a photo of most of the girls in our ward. They are a good bunch and we have lots of fun.

Too bad no camera for Brad...

***UPDATE***
Brad makes it on the Sydney Morning Herald website!!! Brad is in #7 of 20:

Photo Gallery

Brad is directly in the center above the van, wearing a white shirt, his Wheaties hat with glasses on the hat brim (a man in a blue shirt is on his right).

He was also on the news behind a couple people being interviewed. Too bad we don't have a VCR to record it, either!!! (how cheesy are we?)

-------------------

Brad went down to the Opera House this morning for the huge state funeral for Australia's multi-billionaire media mogul, Kerry Packer (died 26 Dec 2005). Early on he was interviewed by the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corp) radio show on why he was there, etc. Who knows if they'll use any of his sound bites...

Brad also managed to work his way to the front of the crowd and paparazzi to see Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, and others pull up in their fancy cars (he could have touched them on the way in), even saw some Bentley's and Rolls Royce's. He was also pretty darn close to Prime Minister John Howard (Australia's equivalent of the President of the USA) for a bit, and saw some cars full of royalty (he could only assume because instead of license plates they were large crowns....again, too bad he didn't have a camera!

Very Belated Christmas Photos...

It took us a while to finally get these up on here, but here they are in all their glory! On Christmas Day, Suzie and fam invited us over for dinner, and the antics that followed are documented below:

Sammi, Kim, Suzie, Brad (cracker is far right bottom frame)

The little coloured crowns atop our heads are from inside the crackers

No, not toilet paper rolls...CHRISTMAS CRACKER tubes!

Ray (Suzie's father) having too much fun with the Christmas Cracker tinsel

...and again with those crazy tubes
